Zuozhu was a visiting scholar at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2025, hosted by Prof. Jimeng Sun. He worked at the Department of Statistics & Data Science at National University of Singapore as a Postdoc Research Fellow (with Prof. Alexandre Thiery) during 2019-2020. He received his PhD degree from Singapore University of Technology and Design in 2019, under the supervision of Prof. Tony Q.S. Quek (FSAEng, FIEEE) and Prof. Shaowei LIN. He obtained the B.Eng from Zhejiang University in 2015, College of Information Science and Electrical Engineering. He visited and worked at the University of Notre Dame, the AIP Center at RIKEN in Japan (with Dr. Emtiyaz Khan), and Preferred Networks Inc, etc. Zuozhu passed the Level III exam of CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).
In 2020/2023, Zuozhu established the Zhejiang University-Angelalign Inc. R&D center for Intelligent Healthcare, focused on AI for digital dentistry.
