Zuozhu started his position as an assistant professor at ZJUI Institute, Zhejiang University, since Sept 2020. His primary research focuses on multimodal vision-language models, AI for health, and bioinformatics. Zuozhu received his PhD degree from Singapore University of Technology and Design in 2019, under the supervision of Prof. Tony Q.S. Quek (FSAEng, FIEEE) and Prof. Shaowei LIN. He obtained the B.Eng from Zhejiang University in 2015, College of Information Science and Electrical Engineering. He visited and worked at the University of Notre Dame, the AIP Center at RIKEN in Japan (with Dr. Emtiyaz Khan), and Preferred Networks Inc, etc. Zuozhu passed the Level III exam of CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).
In 2020/2023, Zuozhu established the Zhejiang University-Angelalign Inc. R&D center for Intelligent Healthcare, focused on AI for digital dentistry.
